扁案除掉算計還是算計

如赦扁聯盟所料，赦扁案被算計掉了，因被技術性出席人數未過半送中執會，放入冷凍庫。

其實蔡英文在2009年9月10日就對ait處長司徒文說，關扁是政治算計，押扁對民進黨有好處（見a）。

現在民進黨以連署表示不要這個好處，蔡英文却要關扁，在全代會還說不要計較個別利益，維基解密提供了她自己說過的，以任何理由不放扁，無法杜悠悠之口。

（1）2008年8月15陳水扁退黨，當時媒體報導是扁主動，其實不是。同年9月30日蔡英文向AIT楊甦棣坦白，是她派人去要求扁退黨。

維基解密電文顯示，楊甦棣問她，是扁自己決定退黨，還是被「鼓勵」退黨？她說她沒直接要求扁退黨，而是透過一個資深黨員去勸退（見b）。

那人就是主張凍獨柯文哲的密友柯建銘，現在他也反對連署放扁。扁被勸退，發表「千山我獨行」的聲明，獨自面對蔡英文所說的「政治算計」。

（2）2008年11月12日扁被以「實質影響力」的理由裁定涉案收押。12月2日ait的電報稱，蔡英文小心翼翼和陳水扁保持距離（切割？），不為他背書。

電報又稱蔡英文告訴楊甦隸，她擔心，陳水扁若放出來，可能鼓動民進黨支持者的情緒。這是什麼意思，她自己要說明清楚。兩天後，她又向楊甦隸表示，押扁合法。同月16日，她又對楊甦棣說，扁可能did some things wrong（貪污？）。記在次日的電文。(見c 1、2、3）

（3）2009年5月14蔡英文和蘇貞昌等去土城看守所探扁，回來她向楊甦隸表示，無論是證據及法律論證皆不足以起訴扁，「非常憤怒」（見d）馬英九繼續找案子關人。

我們很好奇，未當「總統」之前很憤怒沒理由押扁，當了「總統」之後却找理由不放人。中國國民黨算計陳水扁，民進黨也算計嗎？

（a）Chen”s ongoing detention was, she asserted, politically calculated. The KMT viewed Chen as a "troublemaker" who would only cause problems if released. Tsai acknowledged Chen's detention also was good for the DPP but explained the party's stance to defend Chen's judicial rights was worth the risks because people's overall rights had to be protected.

（b）Asked whether Chen decided to resign from the DPP or was encouraged to do so, Tsai explained that she did not ask Chen directly. Instead, she asked a senior DPP member to reach out to Chen to urge him to quit the DPP for the good of the party.

She told the Director recently she is concerned that Chen may stir up more emotional turmoil among DPP supporters, especially after he is released from detention.

2. DPP Chairperson Tsai Ing-wen (herself a lawyer) acknowledged to the Director recently that Chen's detention and the conditions of his detention are consistent with standard practice by Taiwan's prosecutors.

3. 2008 December 17

Tsai Ing-wen told the Director on December 16: Chen "probably did some things wrong," Tsai acknowledged, but his supporters remain sympathetic to the former president because they believe he is being mistreated.

(d) DPP Chair Tsai Ing-wen told the Director on May 21 that she had decided to visit former President Chen Shui-bian in the Taipei Detention Center last Thursday after reading in the newspapers about the court's decision to extend Chen's detention for another two months. Saying she had become "very mad" when reading the article, Tsai maintained that the court's decision was "absolutely absurd from a legal point of view."

2009 September 15. Su Tseng-chang told the Director on September 14. Su acknowledged former President Chen Shui-bian's corruption conviction on September 11 (ref A) had hurt the party. The DPP had made a mistake by not making an early and clean break from Chen.
